Breaking the Seal

This idea came to me in the pub. All comments appreciated.

INT – PUB - EVENING

THREE 20-SOMETHING GUYS – JON, PETE AND BARRY - ENJOYING A DRINK. A FEW EMPTY GLASSES ARE PILED ON THE TABLE.

JON
I need to go again.

PETE
Time I broke the seal as well! Get 'em in Barry!

JON AND PETE HEAD FOR THE TOILET. BARRY HEADS FOR THE BAR.

INT – TOILET – EVENING

PETE AND JON STANDING AT THE URINAL. JON FINISHES OFF AND ZIPS UP. F/X INDICATE PETE IS STILL IN FULL FLOW. JON WIPES HANDS ON TROUSERS AND LEAVES.

CAPTION: LATER

PETE STILL PEEING AT THE URINAL. BARRY STANDS NEXT TO HIM AND STARTS TO PEE.

BARRY
All right Pete?

PETE
Fine, yeah.

BARRY
Your round next, mate.

PETE
Sure.

AS BARRY FINISHES OFF, PETE CONTINUES PEEING ONE-HANDED AND PASSES BARRY A £20 NOTE WITH THE OTHER. BARRY LEAVES.

CAPTION: LATER

PETE STANDING AT THE URINAL. HIS PEEING COMES TO A HALT. PAUSE. HE SHAKES HIMSELF. PAUSE. THEN HE STARTS PEEING AGAIN, FULL JET.

CAPTION: LATER

PETE FINISHES PEEING. HE ZIPS UP HIS TROUSERS, GIVES HIS HANDS A CURSORY RINSE, AND PLACES THEM UNDER THE HAND DRIER WHICH SPRINGS INTO ACTION.

CAPTION: LATER

PETE STILL RUBBING HIS HANDS UNDER THE DRIER.

CAPTION: LATER

INT. - PUB – NIGHT

PETE EMERGES FROM THE TOILET TO FIND JON AND BARRY WORSE FOR WEAR, ABOUT TO LEAVE.

JON
Ready to go, Pete?

PETE SPOTS THREE FULL PINTS OF BEER ON THE TABLE.

PETE
These mine?

JON AND BARRY NOD.

PETE
In a minute then..

PETE PICKS UP THE BEERS IN QUICK SUCCESSION, DOWNING EACH IN ONE. HE LOOKS SATISFIED AS JON AND BARRY HOVER BY THE EXIT DOOR.

PETE
Better just go the bog before I leave...

PETE HEADS INTO THE TOILET. JON AND BARRY CHECK WATCHES, SLAP FOREHEADS AND STUMBLE OFF INTO THE NIGHT.

END

Very good.

Laughing out loud

Nice one, Badge.

That works nicely.

Maybe you could open by showing the pub clock and use it as a reference instead of "LATER" captions?

Thanks all.

Geoff, you're right - I wasn't happy with the captions either. I think I'm better off just saying "LATER" and leaving "time passing" options open like the clock idea you mentioned.
