I don't rent simply because I do always use costumes again or swap with friends and I have had some AWFUL experiences with rented stuff. My fave kinds of costume are story book and fairytale people.

I have had a quote of £500+VAT which is getting there - but still too much to shell out in one go,

I tried Angles but they don't want to hire out to an indiviual.

I'll try Bermans now

It was 'Angels & Bermans' until the Berman got dropped, silly me!

Bigfella frustrated!

Bigfella knows that this idea will work. He also knows that people at the wedding show were very excited when I emailed asking them about stand prices ( they stupidly sent me their internal emails - one saying - this guy would be brilliant pleeeeeeeeassseeeee get him in)
He also knows that £1500 for some "ground" in a hall is stupid.

Bigfella can't locate a costume and it is driving him mad! He has even considered making one himself - then realised it would be shit.

Bigfella knows that quality counts and that quality costs and that Bigfella doesn't have a pot to piss in.

Bigfella is so frustrated he is turning into that mad man who talks in the third person on critique.

Bigfella wounders if he could be the first naked Henry VIII inpersonator?

Bigfella will be sectioned by the morning.

Aaron is sure that bigfella could find a friend or family member willing to loan him the cash so he could buy the costume.

Slight problem with all that - far too complex to go into!

Writing/talking about oneself in the 3rd person is so creepy. I am certain that Noel Edmonds does it. John Stapleton probably does. I also suspect Parky of doing this.

I agree and it is not normal. Just because I'm going mad

Honestly, contact a local dressmaker and get a quote. It would be custom made and could include lots of elastic and velcro to compensate for future weight loss.

Credit card? Are you really that broke that you can't afford the initial investment?

Get a small loan?

This probably isn't the best time to be taking out loans and credit cards, especially if you have dependents...

Either of those options not possible, unfortunantly.

I'll just have to go to our park and sell my body!!!

There's always good money to be made down the docks...

I'd lend you the money myself, only I haven't the first clue who you are. I mean, you might even vote Labour.
