It's just pricing the schools thing right. Another Henry VIII charges up to 400 a day, including all travel. Now if that is for say two classes of thirtythat's £7 a head. I think that seems to be resonable - any thoughts.

The thought that you lecture about Henry VIII and the Tudor time to children and parents have to pay £7 for it? Would the school pay some too then?

The school usually pay for it. Normally from the school fund money.

The Tudors seem to be a perennial favourite on the primary school curriculam, so good thinking. Apply for your CIB check (to say you can work with children) now, because it can take ages.

I'll sell him mine if he wants. Although it has always struck me as funny you need a CRB check to work with kids, but none to actually HAVE them. Something not quite right there.

I think there might be something wrong with my hearing because when I was about six and we had to bring in 'school fund money' (5p per week back then), because I never saw it written down I always thought it was 'school fun money'. I was always waiting for the fun, but it never happened. :(

And we were read Ted Hughes The Iron Man, which I always thought was called The Eye and Man.

Yes, when I was training to be a teacher. It was just called 'remedial' when I was at school, top of the class and being Head Girl. :)

Teacher. Journalist. Your life's been a magical journey through Britain's Most Respected Professions. :)

Don't forget 'housewife'. That one really impresses people.

OMG I LOVE FANCY DRESS.

I am the fancy dress queen. Obsessed with it.

bigfella, if you're prepared to gay it up a bit you could become a regular fixture at Starkey's house.

As for £400/day, that's ridiculous money, particularly for a starter. Work your way up to that when and if you have a reputation worth it. Although if you charge that you'll have enough money to buy your own costume in no time.

If you're on the larger side, Bigfella, there's money to be had as a Hagrid lookalike.

Well if he's on this site, he must be fairly gay. Like the rest of us.
