Looks like Narnia after a particularly hot summer down this way today.
Hard frost here now. I like it 'hard'.

You are so, so lucky. It's white nightmare here. At least another 6 inches of snow today - no transport and abandoned cars everywhere.

Not according to a text I just had fpom somebody who's been stuck in traffic for 4 hours and desperate for the toilet for 3 of them! In that time she's covered what would normally be a 5 minute journey and has at least 4 times that to do still before she reaches home.
Well no, not fun for them.
But fun if you're nice and safe at home, have decided not to try and go anywhere, and have plenty of food. Then it's fun!
It was -8C when I got in my car this morning. My LCD display panel was all slow when I changed some settings on it. It had frozen the liquid crystals, people! FROZEN THEM! Or maybe the car battery was just a bit low due to the cold. Oh, I don't know. I'm not a mechanic.
Apparently there was a whore frost this morning with another predicted for tomorrow.
Billwill has ordered some snow chains for his car.
Paying an exorbitant amount will ensure that it will not snow at all for the next 3 years so that the money is wasted.
