The Army always gave us a few weeks to get acclimatized before they'd make us do heavy physical training in places like the California desert or Florida. It was hot and humid as Hell in Panama, but I grew up in south Florida and it felt like home. A lot of northerners had a difficult time with the jungle weather.

Last night I gave my Texas-born neighbor that 6-pack of Texas Sux beer that I bought in Oklahoma. He got a good laugh out of it.
That's why in britain it gets to 22c everyones in shorts and vests saying it's a "scorcher"
The low temperatures here haven't got below 25C in months. It's still 30C three hours after the sun sets.

I'm comfortable until beyond about 27c then I start to feel it.
I say feel it, I mean Lynx dry starts to have no affect on me anymore.
I think England would melt at that temperature.

It's still 100 degrees out there and it doesn't look like it'll last long, but we'll take what we can get.
