Quote: Stephen Goodlad @ July 23 2013, 10:59 AM BSTHehe, blown out of my bed at 05:30 am by flashes and bangs and the dog trying to get under the quilt.
Congratulations Stephen Goodlad - you made our ONE MILLIONTH post!

I'm just glad it wasn't along the same sort of strand as most posts.

How about a prize?
Doesn't have to be too fancy.
Oh, I'm right proud. Now for that trolley dash around Lidl.
If I move sharpish I bet I can get more than a tenners worth in.

Quote: zooo @ July 22 2013, 6:33 PM BSTI genuinely think you people must be from some other planet.
How does the heat actually make you feel?
I mean, a sunny day and a blue sky makes me cheerful too, but putting that aside how does the actual extreme heat make you feel?
I must admit: Although I love the heat during the day it can be a bit annoying in the night. I woke up today at 5 a.m. and felt like I wet the bed. But I didn't...I was sweating because of the heat and humidity (at least I hope so).
Giddy.
A sack of potatoes on the cranium.
Pray for a rain man.

Yes, being too hot at night is utterly horrible.
Poor Stephen Goodlad.
His humongous achievement gets buried in a thread about The Weather. And nothing back yet from Aaron about some kind of prize, or memento.
What was it Andy Warhol said about 15 seconds of fame?!
The thunder woke me up about 6am. I just went "meh!" and went back to sleep.
We've been sold a pup. Today was supposed to be big storms that cooled everything down but they were meh storms and it's hotter than ever. A pup.
I think Stephen Goodlad should be inducted into summat.
Oh, and me in the TOTP category.
