Aye, indeed it was. RIP.
So was he trying to get into character for playing a shirt?

Either that or he was horribly miscast for the Michael Hutchence biopic.
When my husband told me he had killed himself, I instantly figured that he would have gone the Hemingway route. The hanging thing was very unexpected. I remember him for the awful mini-series "North and South." Terrible to watch, but he was a kick-ass bad guy.
What a shame.
I think he'd have made an ace Saint of Killers in the Preacher movie.
I don't think he did 'kill himself' exactly, as in suicide.
It was just a dangerwank gone wrong.
dangerwank, a new one for the BCG dictionary.
Dangerwank, the not so sucessful sequel to Dangermouse.

This is my favourite posting ever. Fantastic.
In his honour Ikea have a new range wardrobes, the Dangle Whenk....
So how exactly did he die?

Supposedly he was found hanging with a rope around his neck and another cord around his genitals.

'When I told the Genie I wanted to be well hung...'
Oh never mind.
He could've been in the most seminal (cough) films in history but all he'll be remembered for is tossing off in a hotel cupboard. Something I aspire to. Aim high, that's my motto.
