I think I'll go wash my kettle just in case. I've been paranoid ever since I heard the story of a woman in northern Ontario who tried to kill a bat in her kitchen but diapered after she had thought she hit it. She found out a week later it had fallen in her kettle and she had been drinking boiled bat water for a week.
