I don't think you're totally imagining it. The show does feel a bit different.

Can't say it feels any different to me. It also doesn't feel transitional, it just feels like more prime Peep. Maybe I'm missing something . . ? :D Perhaps people are getting a bit spoiled after such a great run and are now subconsciously looking for signs of the show's downfall? ;)

(The Three Wise Matthews... ;))

Perhaps Matthew Stott blindly worships Peep Show to such an extent that he can't notice anything different, even when it's different.

Then when those 'non-believers' point out any faults whatsover, Matthew Stott declares a comedy Jihad and accuses anyone who doesn't toe the party line as being traitorous scum who secretly wishes the show would fail. :S

I'll be keeping a close eye on you Der Stott. Unimpressed

(I knew we should have checked whether he was wearing a wire at the meet-up!)

Yes, that's probably it.

You crack very easily under pressure, Stotty, I must say. ;)

I've always quite fancied being a historical tour guide. :(

Good episode though. I still find it a bit off-putting one of the cast being someone I know from elsewhere, but still very good.

Couldn't you find out how the series ends? Or at least if she saw Mark's keyboard in the 1st episode, they never resoved that!

I enjoyed tonight's episode. It was definitely on par with the series as a whole, which for a show in its 6th series is a really big achievement and shows that the show can keep going on. I want to grow old with Mark and Jeremy!

Next week Mark discovers something about Jeremy's girlfriend (forgot her name) and has to decide whether to tell Jeremy or not. I can't wait! :D

Does that mean we're a bit sad?

Quite possibly, yes. But is that really a bad thing? :)

There hasn't been a moment of arse-clenching anxiety or shame yet in this series

Good!

This.

Good!

I didn't mean that was a bad thing. And when Peep Show have done it, it's not been in the "comedy of embarrassment" style which I know you loathe.
;)

Another really good episode last night, not as good as last weeks but that would take some doing so I'm certainly not complaining. I really don't know how they pack that many good lines into one episode let alone the whole series.

Line of the week:
"So few women are Ripper-literate these days"

Great episode last night. :)

''I hope he's clever. I will definitely resent paying 3 grand for an idiot.''

Not the best episode last night, but still good. Ended up watching most of series 5 after it too.

"I didn't say it was bum rape, Mark" Laughing out loud

I think it's really hitting it's stride and I loved last night's show. Jam packed with great lines. :)

That was ace, especially the correcting English bit.

Do mean the way Mark would correct spoken language? Like the fewer/less thing?
