I guess part of it is psychological - your prices are "what you see is what you get" while ours have extras tacked on after the purchase. And with a 1.5:1 exchange rate (paid with funny looking money) it almost seems cheap.
In my local pub back in Northern Ontario we used to get a Quart of Labatt 50 for 2.50 or a pitcher for 10.00.
Can't find any cheap pubs like that here in Ottawa. Too many wealthy people willing to pay lots of money.

Their beer is ace and they make their own weird soft drinks.
Hey Sooty do you guys get any Canadian beer in the UK?
We get tons of great UK beer here.

We do, but usually largery stuff.
Quote: Griff @ May 21 2009, 7:30 PM BSTWe get Labatt's here Curt, I've definitely drunk that.
Back on coffee, the best coffee in London is at http://www.monmouthcoffee.co.uk/default.htm
Cool I'll be sure to check it out when I visit.

True.
Quote: Griff @ May 21 2009, 7:13 PM BSTand their beer's OK.
False.
Quote: Griff @ May 21 2009, 8:44 PM BSTBut it's no worse than some beer that costs twice as much, eg John Smiths or Fosters.
Is that the Foster's from Australia? If so,
I had to drink a bunch of Foster's at the Jazz Festival in New Orleans last month until I found a single beer tent that was serving Pilsner Urquell.
Samuel Smith's do stuff like wheat bear or oatmeal stout which are rather nice.

I assume it's the same Sam' Smith's oatmeal stout that they sell over here. I like it. I think they also sell an organic beer that's pretty good.
Ready to leave work and head to the store for some beer and snacks. My friends' band will be staying with me for a couple of days and I usually blow a few hundred dollars on various (good) beers and munchies. I won't be getting much sleep for the next few days.
The world's most horrible beer that should squelch any urges.
yuk to the beer and the beer only from your post.

Is everyone is England that wealthy?
Yes. We are f**king loaded.

Is the blonde's left booby about 3x the size of the right...?

Not high enough!
And on the original point from Mr Carpark, all hot drinks are vile.

Should have stayed single Curt, with all the spare cash you'd be drunk off your arse on beer and running around in circles on coffee. Then you'd have a bladder infection, probably.
As for the Coors Girls - nothing's worse then doing the walk of shame with Srooc written on your face.
I was going to throw in some smutty gags about great body, frothy head, getting a stiff one down her neck, etc. but decided not to, as I'm a classy guy.
