(I think I admit I know very little about them, but they are pro-Britian and seem to be anti-europe etc)

I think you'll find there are quite a few parties that are fundamentally anti-Europe, if that's what interests you. The Socialist Labour Party, for example, are commited to complete withdrawal from the European Union. And they're very, very anti-rascist!

Aw, their little plan has worked on you!
Bless.

NO! that would not be nice but I am sure your Grand Parents have earn't there right to be here, like the Gurkas etc, If I was the BNP all people that hold a British Passport would be welcome, it would be new non-British that should not be allowed unless they have a reason for being here ie skilled workers etc, lets face it, alot of the people come here for our resources like the NHS and this country can not cope and they are a drain, we are only a small country? Other countrys don't have the influx of Aslum Seekers, how much of yours and mine taxpayers money is spent on just bloody translation services etc, alot come here and do not/can not even have the decency to learn our language and try to fit in, but want to keep there own countrys laws etc and do not integrate... But like I said I know very little about the BNP, I am just posting my thoughts etc - Oh no Phil posting his thoughts is considered a racist when he is not, that is the problem with this damn country as soon as you have an opinion about race your are branded a racist:(

Statistically that's a lie. Besides if we didn't have people regularly coming to our shores we would be in even worse economic shape than we are now.
It'd be like blackpool in winter...DEAD!

For holidays or foreign students perhaps but they have a legitimate reason for being here, that is not my argument, its the people who stay here and drain our resources by bringing there whole extended family with them who are not contributing into society by claiming benefits/free housing etc, if these person's are rich and paying taxes no worries?

(working in the NHS I have seen first hand what a drain these people can be)

The bulk of asylum seakers (can I be old fashioned and call them refugees?) would like to work (on work English people won't do however well paid). A heck of a lot of them do work in the voluntary sector (ask anyone who work's for a charity). The idea of some one living in fear or being killed because we're so scared that they might push our taxes up a few pennies I find profoundly uncomfortable.

Oh and the laws in this country on claiming asylum are tough, really tough. There is an issue with social provisions and education not encouraging integration or learning English, but really that is a separate issue.

And yes some people do cheat the system, but a fair well run asylum system would deal with them far more eficently.

But IMO we are now too over populated and do not have enough resources for everyone who is legitimly here (ie Dentists), so why can't they just stop people coming in, close the borders to people who want to settle! This country is too small IMO

No just poorly distributed. There's lots of towns in poorer areas that are dying from population shift.

If you're not working and don't intend to work, don't live where there are jobs.

But then the world is over populated in general. So maybe it's time for war and euthenasia.

Well they definitely don't come for the weather.

We are just a soft touch - in all ways. Look at our criminal sentencing system!
(Waiting for Sooty!)

No argument on the criminal sentencing front, we are a spft touch and should build more prisons.

Asylum seakers go where they can. Perhaps the loony tune press playing us up a soft touch is the reason why people come here?

Or maybe people come here because the economic growth in the west due to capitalism has been a detriment to where they come from and they have no option but want to better their lives.

But why don't the bloody French take any?

France is full of economic migrants and refugees.

But why don't the bloody French take any?

They do as do the Germans and the Dutch, most of them take more people than we do.

Why doesn't our country stop ignoring or supporting the opressive regimes that drive them to us.

Good point I suppose.

It couldn't be anything to do with corrupt politicians could it?

Not so much corrupt as in hopelessly incapable.

I worry if this lot are so incapable, who'd going to replace them?
Professional, machine politicians don't seem upto the job.

Should we cross our fingers and hope for a new generation of citizen politicians? I reckon we should do away with salaries, if you can't earn the money or persuade some one to sponsor you don't run.
