Living with your parents Page 3

The lawyer Ted from Scrubs and Howard Wolowitz from Big Bang Theory both live with mothers.

As someone who has had to crash at other people's pads from time to time, you will need 3 things to survive - a wireless laptop, a portable telly and a freeview box.

Expect Darren to put on three stone when all those free home cooked meals start kicking in.

We should perhaps mention Granville, he couldn't get away from his uncle if he tried.

Harold from Steptoe and Son.

A horrible thing is about to happen to me. I may be forced to live back with my parents for a while

Has the laboratory run out of uses for you?

Has anyone mentioned Kenneth Williams? (when they didn't live together she was only next door and they still took holidays together!)

Jimmy Saville as well - he called his mum the duchess didn't he?

Not that they're great role models for you.

I had to move back after about 10 years away and hated the prospect but it went better than expected and I'd say improved our relationship overall.

Hopefully it won't be for long before you can move out though!

I'd echo the freecycle advice - but you may have to donate something first. Shame as I got rid of a TV recently.

Good luck with it all!

Indeed they have, they claim cut backs but I know its because they are incapable of finding answers to my psychological problems. Cheap skates.

Thanks! I have my Edinburgh dates confirmed, remind me of your? Have you booked tickets for shows yet?
:D :D

The Trotters lived with their Grandfather, didn't they?

Your poor parents. Has anyone thought of how it will be for them?

I've just been living back at home for a bit!
It's been fun. :)

If it was indefinite then yes I can see how it would be a bit depressing, but as long as you know it's just for a bit, make the most of the free home cooked meals, big house, and everything being done for you I say.

I'll be there 24th to 29th August. How about you? I have flights and accomodation sorted but no shows booked up yet. Might take a look this weekend. Plan to see a couple of friends' shows if I can and see what's around when I get there. And anyone from here if poss.
