Blimey. A new sitcom 3 nights a week, and a variety/standup on the other. How I would love similar sitcom-centric scheduling now...
What a load of old shit! The Slinger's Day clip could easily have been a spoof. Better to have no pre-watershed comedy than that kind of old cods-bollocks.
Damn that YouTube clip. I watched that clip last year and it convinced me to buy Fresh Fields on DVD and it was one of the worst sitcoms I've ever seen. That episode of Slinger's Day is on YouTube and it is fairly naff. Did you know one episode of Slinger's Day was written by the brilliant David Renwick who wrote One Foot In The Grave?
