I've never seen that and heard v little about it but I would've thought anything made by or with Izzard would have to be good in some way. Is this Cows on DVD? I will now check your review page for Cows. What a title though, Cows. :)

No, it's not available on DVD. If it were, I would have to burn them all for the sake of the reputation of British comedy.

You can't go burning cows willy nilly, unless you're a farmer or something, not all of them anyway.

Oh so it wasn't an actual sitcom then, just the germ of one, a pilot. Hmm, I'm thinking you should have a separate category for all pilots, both aired and unaired, and whether a series follwed or not. Would be a useful research tool for prospective sitcom makers imo. ?

Well there is this: https://www.comedy.co.uk/guide/pilots/

Didn't know you had all that, ta, even thoough it's all fairly recent stuff it is very useful to look at for aspiring sitcom writers. It brings home just how well formed your sitcom project has to be to even get a look in. And it is nice to see some big names failing to make it there, but maybe that enforces how daunting it is for a 'no one'. Some of those ideas were instant turkies though, surprising they made it anywhere near the advanced referall stage.

I've just read that Michael Sharvell-Martin (cherry drinking neighbour Trevor Botting) died in October. I have particularly loved seeing him in panto in Windsor over the past couple of years. Very sad. :( RIP.

:( Shame. He was also in several episodes of Terry And June as well

It's so middle class and middle England - the son was off to university and of all subjects what he was going to to? Thats right: veterinary science!

The funniest line in the first episode was the eldeest son saying he couldn't start his new business from his rented accommodation as it cost the then princely sum of £40 per week. £40 a bloody week!
