Henry VIII

Henry VIII

A Venetian Diplomat in 1515 describes Henry VIII

''The Handsomest potentate I ever set me eyes upon: above the usual
height, with an extremely fine calf to his leg, his complexion very fair
and light, with auburn hair...and a round face so very beautiful that it
would become a pretty woman, his throat being rather long and thick''

Henry VIII is sat on his throne. Surrounded by his royal aides.

HENRY: (booming) SERVANT!

A young servant man scurries around the corner.

SERVANT: Yes my lord?

HENRY: I was just talking with the guys (pointing to his associates)

They all look nervous.

HENRY: Depending on what you say to me now, my good servant man..depending on what your answer will be to my question, you may continue your wonderful life my good servant. You may enjoy the fruits of the world God has left us and the all the treasures of life. Or depending on the answer you give me now my good servant man, may your head be lost in the pits of hell forever!

The servant trembles with fear at what this life changing question will be.

HENRY: My good servant...Do you think I'm Sexy?

The royal aides eyeball the servant, knodding.

SERVANT: (beat) Definitely...100% YES! (beat) definitely.

Nice twist Scott. Thought the ending could have been stronger though.

HENRY:
Yep. Just as I thought, he's another one of those homo's. Off with his head!

:P

Cheers Craig.

This sketch was meant to be more focused on the quote above from a Venetian Diplomat who once said that of Henry VIII.
I just imagined it, and how it was hilarious to think that the venetian said those things about an ugly fat man, just because he was king and didn't want to die!
I imagined Henry VIII standing next to him whilst he said it, (infront of the world's press or something)making sure what he says will flatter him...or he'll die!

:)

Ok, I thought Craig's ending helped it.

Ha. Cheers Nigel. :)

As I said it's a joke on how terrified people were of him.
But Craig's is good.

"knodding."

Thats a nice word, it almost feels like it ought to be spelled that way..
