This show has been talked about on other threads. But I can't find one just for it.
I remeber it as being very good. A little bit like Peep Show in the way you hear what he is thinking.

I've forgotten what it was about.
Ask Leevil.
Mel Smith trying to become an horror author.
It has the worlds funniest best man's speech episode ever.
Which could put anyone off doing standup.
I quite liked the show at the time.
I remember the best man speech thing vaguely.
Wouldn't mind seeing some repeats.
The main thing I know is that Colin works for British Rail and the show also featured Mike Grady (Citizen Smith, Last Of The Summer Wine).
I recall it being a very funny show.
I really like Mel Smith and enjoyed this show a lot. It's a pity he went off into directing bad films.
It's one of my favourites. I think it reflects the self doubt in wannabe writers to a tee. Of course it exaggerates for comic effect but otherwise bang on. Some great scenes. Best man speech already been said but there are lots more. Two series only, would blast 90% of the crap on TV at the moment into the stratosphere in my opinion.
