INT. DAY. ROOM.

SCENE 1

A MIDDLE AGED ASIAN MAN IS ARGUING WITH A YOUNGER ASIAN WOMAN.

WOMAN:
No, I won't do it. I really don't want to, no.

MAN:
You shall and you will. I am your father and I have made the decision. It's part of your culture. I have made the arrangements. We are going to the registry office now.

SCENE 2: INT. DAY. REGISTRY OFFICE.

WOMAN IS NOW STANDING BESIDE SIMILARLY AGED ASIAN MAN AND IS BEING SPOKEN TO BY THE REGISTRAR.

REGISTRAR:
Ok, well that's it. The divorce has been granted.

Don't get it sorry.

Re-edited. It's pish anyway.

You're a great writer Nigel but this doesn't seem to be an especially rich seam.

YWB.

As far as I know, the Registry Office deals with births, deaths and marriages. It doesn't grant divorces.

And when you say "Asian", which nationality/culture where you referring to?
