Postie Pay Freeze song

To the tune of "Wait a minute, Mr Postman"

(Stop)
Oh yes, Take a pay freeze Mister Postman
(Pay)
Freeze Mister Postman

Please Mister Postman, look and see
(Oh yeah)
The state of England's economy
(Please, Please Mister Postman)
I know our profits have started to climb
(Oh yeah)
If you don't like it, you can resign

The Royal Mail was in decay
Thank God for drunken bids on eBay
Please Mister Postman, can't you agree
To take a pay freeze, please do it for me

I know you're thinking of striking Mister Postman
but please
I know that things are gonna get better
But I can't afford special delivery

(Mister Postman)
Mister Postman, if you flee
(Oh yeah)
i'll let my dog chase you up that tree
(Please, Please Mister Postman)
I know the post office was in decline
(Oh yeah)
But all the bills to post have saved you this time

I'm sure you can live without a rise
Leaving now just wouldn't be wise
I'm sure in time things will get better
It could be worse at least it's nice weather

(Mister Postman)
Mister Postman, look and see
(Oh yeah)
The state of England's economy

I was trying to write something for treason.

I have only ever done a couple of song parodies before, is it standard to change the chorus each time then?

I left it the same becausethat's is what the original was like.

I'm no expert on songs but I think they like diferent choruses

Hey Sooty

I have changed my second chorus, what you think?

Very good and annoyingly fast written.

The classic postman dog joke I think will be a TS crowd pleaser.

Right, now all I need to know is... do I send to Mark or Carol?

mark and treason show I believe
