Sitcom put-downs

I love a good put-down, me. I was watching an old ep of Scrubs last night, and Dr Kelso came up with a belter -

"Well that's a fascinating anecdote, Sport. You should put that that I your journal, then your kids can read about it when you're dead."

What makes a good put-down, and what are the best ones?

Lots from Carry Ons stick in my mind, usually Sid James to Joan Sims:

J: "I had heard the Khasi was susceptible to beautiful women!"
S: "So am I. Look what I ended up with."
J: "Oh very funny. You may not realise it, Sidney Ruff-Diamond, but there are hidden fires within me!"
S: "There may have been once, but now you're just bunged full of clinker.."

Plus the legendary: "Meet the wife - don't laugh."

The thread is so bad, not even God himself could of created it and he created everything* :P

*Only applies if you believe in a God. Otherwise replace with Barry Chuckle.

Another favourite line is from Hancock when given a plate of food: "Blimey, I thought my mother's gravy was bad, but at least hers used to move about a bit."
