Started watching my DVD of this. Love it. First time I've seen a sitcom where the characters break into Shakespeare for an extended period of time. Well, for any period of time really.
Rewatching the first series over the holiday and really enjoying it. Surreal is difficult to pull off without being smug or annoying but Nightingales nails it.
There's nobody here but us chickens!

A weird sitcom is Nightingales in the way it is really silly and dark at the same time, that aside i keep pulling the DVD out every few years just to marvel at the great cast and surreal feel of every episode in order. Any sitcom fan of the past 30 years should own it.
