New stand up comedians

I am just starting out as a stand up comedian, have done a few shows to date and enjoying more and more each time...

This could be mainly down to the fact I am yet to die on stage but fingers crossed it will happen soon so I can get it out of the way...

Has anyone seen any good up and coming comedians around London lately? If so, where? Was it an open mic night? Are you a comedian?

Answer any of the above

:) :) :)

I just went to the first stand up night at the Charles Cryer Theatre, Carshalton.

It was a one-off trial but if it was successful the idea was hopefully to make it once a month. It went really well so there's hope it could take off.

Top of the bill was Dan Antapolski whose name meant nothing but when he came on I realised I'd seen him on TV.

Overall some very good acts and a variety - no names that I remember though apart from my mate Pete Kermally who'd helped to organise it with compere Neil Cole.

So it's looking like a new regular venue in South London/Surrey.

He was on Hyperdrive wasn't he....not that I watched that, or anything..... Huh?

And if memory serves he was nominated for the Perrier (as 'twas then called)
