Stella

I did a search for "Stella" and didn't find any corresponding posts, so here's a recommendation of a show which in my opinion is one of the best US comedies ever made.

I'll preface my recommendation by warning that Stella is not for everyone. It's extremely polarizing in that after one episode you'll either love it or hate it. It's difficult to explain what Stella is actually about beyond saying that it follows the absurd adventures of three friends played by Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter, and David Wain (director of Role Models, The Ten, Wet Hot American Summer).

To give you an idea of what Stella is like I suggest you check out a couple of their "Stella Shorts" which were made prior to the show being commissioned for full length episodes:

It's very easy to write Stella off as stupid, and that's probably why it was canceled after one season on Comedy Central. Since then Black, Showalter and Wain have since done a bunch of other stuff independently (books, movies, etc). For example, David Wain made a great webseries for MyDamnChannel titled "Wainy Days" which is definitely worth watching if you like Stella's humour:

I never really found Stella funny. It reminded me too much of the drama kids in University who thought everything they said was funny but wasn't.
At least these guys are well dressed unlike the tie-dye wearing, bongo drum caring drama kids. *shudder* so very annoying.

Have you see the bit on the old Ali G show where Borat went to the Edinburgh Festival and watched some uni or school students do a skit about prime numbers, and they told him: "We've been likened to Monty Python."

A couple of semi decent ideas in the Birthday one, but so long and self indulgent. It's like HandC without the fat gay jokes.

Still the Wiffle ball one had Simon and Garfunkle which is always good.

haha no I have not.
I kinda want to see it but I kinda don't knowing those kids will probably annoy me to.

I am fully loving this show at the moment, can't believe there were so few episodes.
