Psychoville - Series 1 Page 28

Well it was good, but slightly at odds with the earlier series and suffers by comparison.

I know it does to some, but not to me personally, I loved the fact they changed it up a bit, rather than stick strictly to the same old structure of the first two series. Quite brave really, as you're laying yourself open to complaints from viewers who liked it the way it was. But then again, if they had kept it the same, just as many people might complain that it's more of the same and they've got complacent. You can't win really.

I suppose it's just not the norm; if you are going to do something new, you do it in a new show and not in a familiar one. It's either brave and challenging, or rather daft.

The 'Rope' effort is more startling than S3 of the League as it came in the middle of a series instead of a series on its own. It's a nice idea to try more stuff like that; I think more 'filmed plays' coud be good. Plus more live stuff too to give it an edge. But as one-off shows instead of lumped in with 'conventional' episodes.

I'm glad the baby turned out to be a hoax. As much as I don't mind surreal elements. It was just too silly and didn't match in with the rest of the show.

I've not seen this at all yet - but it looks brilliant.

Does it have to watched in sequence? If so I'll wait until it gets repeated or comes out on DVD.

Yeah, it's an ongoing story.

F**king flipping bloody norah. That's captivating stuff. Still struggling to find humour, and some bits rather confusing (how and why did the kid take Snappy there?), but the story's excellent.

Is the red button thing working? They said the final episode is on interactive, but it's Taking the Flak right now I think.

He took it in his backpack in episode 2, one assumes the mystery man (who I suspect is Mr Jolly) picked him up then took him to the hospital.

Still struggling to find humour.

I did quite a few laugh out louds, especially at all the Mr Jelly bits this week.

'He's using me phone now. I'm going to have to pay for that!' :D

Yeah, that was quite a good scene.

(how and why did the kid take Snappy there?),

He didn't, he gave it to the Mystery Man, who then took it there.

That was a sweet line, albeit it was "wipe my bum" which made me laugh. And the seducing the siamese twin bit.

She promised us we could watch the last one on Red Button and it isn't on there.

This is actually both upsetting and frustrating.

What are we going to do???

Why would the mystery man have picked him up? Has there been any link between him and the Snappy family, other than through Mr Lomax?

I cried a little bit when Maureen came back.

:$

I cannot wait until next Thursday!
