Wayne Rooney Baby

Not sure if this works. Any feedback welcome.

Colleen and Wayne are going for an Ultra sound.

Colleen : I'm so excited Wayne. The first scan our little baby.

Wayne : Yeah Darling. Any chance we can sell it to OK?

Doctor : So Mr and Mrs Rooney, we are going to start now.

The Doctor moves scanner over Colleen's belly.

Doctor : Now this a new scanner, It shows the picture in colour. There's you're baby's little hands look.

Colleen: Wow look Wayney.

Wayne: Yeah great.

Doctor : There are the feet. And there is the face, oh hang on.....that's a strange shape. God it's got pug ears and massive nose! There is something wrong here.

Colleen: Is it me Doctor or is the picture an odd colour?

Doctor : Yeah....It looks green to me.

Wayne: Yeap Doctor – that's definitely my boy!!!

I like the idea but I don't think this is quite there yet. The excution lacks something and joke was rather telegraphed.

Having said that I don't know why you should listen to what I think because everything I post in Critique is shit apparently.

I didn't really get the punchline to this:

Colleen: Is it me Doctor or is the picture an odd colour?

Doctor : Yeah....It looks green to me.

Wayne: Yeap Doctor – that's definitely my boy!!!

What has being green got to do with Wayne Rooney?

Because he looks like Shrek perhaps ?

Oh yes. It could be that.

Yes - that was the idea!

But that answers the question, it don't work.
