Rex The (Sexist) Dog

Hmmm, a basic idea, but is it any good?

INT. KITCHEN - DAY

Rex strides in through the door and notices Polly the Poodle reading a magazine.

Rex:
Is this what you do all day?

Polly:
I've only just sat down!

Rex:
Were you lying?

Polly:
I'm not lying!

Rex:
No, I mean, were you lying down?

Polly:
I've been busy all day!

Rex:
Yeah, I find Loose Dogs tiring too. Bloody moaning bitches!

Polly:
That sexist!

Polly pulls out a cut-out lonely hearts ad which reads,

"Rex The (Sexiest) Dog"

Polly:
(under her breath)
Bloody printing error.

Rex:
Where's my dinner?

End

Not a bad scene but a VERY good idea and has alot of potential - were you thinking animation?

Took me a while to get the Loose Women reference :P

Any chance of returning the feedback https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/12357

Thanks for sharing
Craig

This reminds me of Rex the Runt, which was an Aardman production so yeah it has good potential and was fairly on the mark.

Cheers guys. Yeah, Craig, animation crossed my mind. I'll check out your link.

I know of Rex the Runt, Eden, cheers for the feedback.

:)

Conceptually excellent. There's so much scope to develop an animated sexist character.

Keep the script edgy. Animated characters get away with far more than actors.

[Can I do Rex's voice please]

Thanks for the feedback and advice Geoff.

I don't know, can you? ;)

Ahem. "Not 'arf".

Enjoyed this :)

Hmm I don't know about this one Mr Leevil sir. He's not actually sexist as they are bitches (in the canine sense). :D

Laughing out loud

Thanks for the feedback dudes.

Good one. Might I suggest Loose Woofers to make it sound more like Loose Women? That's my only niggle.

Good suggestion, thanks! Although, I'm determined now, to come up with an even better pun.

Loose Lurchers?
The St Bernard and Judy Show?
Dog it?
Bargain Runt?

Defecation, Defecation, Defecation. :D
