Bye Bye For A Month Or So

Dear all, will be disappearing for a month or so tomorrow. Will be resorting in lovely Weston-Super-Mud, where I spend many a miserable weekend as a child.
I won't go into detail, beyond what I've already said, about the reasons why.
Suffice to say, being denied my Blackberry and my laptop whilst I'm there will not be able to chat to you lovely people/post libellous and distasteful comments.
Will miss you all and hope to return a wiser and better person.
(Despite the laptop ban, taking lots of pads of paper and pens and have 4 weeks of plenty of writing time.)

Plus you're allowed to wear your own clothes.
At two grand a week I hope at least to get some sex to compensate.
Saying that, no-one dries out in the Bahamas, I suppose.
In the pub for my last night (I hope) of alcohol.
For the record, have never put patients at risk, only me.
Will genuinely miss being here amongst my friends (and even those who think I'm a f**k-stool). 11am tomorrow I am incommunicado.

Best of luck. Alcohol's a helluva drug.

Nobody wants to hear other people's stories but for what it's worth, I used to be a pisshead myself - years of drinking every night. Eventually I did a self-enforced three month ban. First week was Hell - from the second week it was plain sailing.

Now (by comparison) I drink in moderation. Anyway, like I say, nobody wants to hear other people's stories.

Hope you do get on top of the habit Tim. You're obviously a talented, intelligent bloke but with the best will in the world you're a bit of a knob when you're pissed.
