In Praise of Kenny Everett

Kenny Everett - genius or what? Huge characters, pop music, dancing girls, brilliant use of costume and effects and the guy was so damn lovable. A little bit of joy from my younger days. What say you?

I think Hot Gossip are reasonable for making me the pervert I am today! :D I loved The Kenny Everett Show when I was younger, but I'm not sure how it would hold up nowadays.

Genius!

Fantastic. Loved the "Instant Bee Gee Kit"

As I've already said, 2 or 3 times on here, my mum went to school with Kenny, or Maurice, as he was known back then. She told me he used to record his own mock radio shows on cassette, and bring them into school. He mentioned my mum's best friend, who was like an Auntie to me, when I was growing up, in his autobiography. I think my mum was a bit disappointed he didn't mention her as well.

I lurrved Kenny Everett and his TV show was, for me, unmissable. He also had some very handy dandy writers on his team - not least a certain B. Cryer and R. Cameron.

Crikey, you've taken me back a few years - what is this, Quantam Leap?!

Keverett was brill, ace and skill.

Great DJ as well, I used to like listening to Captain Kremin (sic).

Kenny was brilliant. I remember doing a bit on him for a school project a few years ago. Second best sketch show ever, just behind Flying Circus for me.

Legend...Upskirt performance.

And all in the best possible taste.

Ray Cameron's son is Michael McIntyre. TRUFAX.

Oh, and Kenny's a flipping legend.

Kenny Everett was ace.

And I'll just add: MMMMMM! Cleo Rocos!

Loved Kenny growing up... he was different to the norm'
