Wimbledon 2009 attempt

SUE BARKER
Having been crowned as Wimbledon champion I think its fair to say that Andy Murray truly is the best British tennis player we have seen since Fred Perry. Wouldn't you agree John?

JOHN MCENROE
Oh definitely. Its been a long drought for British Tennis but this guy really has given the sport a new lease of life in Britain.

SUE BARKER
Tim?

TIM HENMAN
Well I think he is certainly the greatest Scottish player the game has ever seen.

SUE BARKER
Yes and the best British player since Fred perry.

TIM HENMAN
Well Fred wasn't Scottish.

SUE BARKER
I know, I said British.

TIM HENMAN
Well I don't think you can say that.

JOHN MCENROE
No I think Tim has a point.

TIM HENMAN

JOHN MCENROE

TIM HENMAN

SUE BARKER

TIM HENMAN

TIM HENMAN

HE STORMS OUT

That's it Tom, take my great idea and shit all over it! :D

Great piece matey, really enjoyed it. I was also thinking of taking the nationality route but opted for a more confusing path in which nobody would understand but me. :P

Brilliant sketch Tom

Cheers,
Craig

You did the hard work. I thought you had a good idea and I just put my own spin on it.

It's having the ideas that are importnat though, you'll get used to the writing as you go along. Sometimes you just have to spell things out a bit more.

I know mate. I think my problem is over complicating things. I need to make things more simple and effective.

You'll be sick of the sight of my small sketches in the coming months. Hopefully you lot can drill comedy writing into me though and it will make you laugh as well as confused.

I've got 3 bags full of ideas, I just need to convey those ideas well enough that people understand my jokes as I intend them to be.

Rather than spelling. ;)

Top sketch

Hey Tom.

Very nice sketch. Maybe you and Craig should collaborate?

It's OK, but I can't help feeling that Tim Henamn sketches are at least two years past their sell by date...
