An enjoyable read with nice characters and they work well together on the page however I personally tend to find this style a bit obvious... almost too sitcomy.

Yeah, was not a dig at you or your work, it's just not something I'd watch but their is a market for it.
As for obvious, I guess I'd some up as predictable.
But as ever that's just my thoughts.
Others probably think much the same on mine 
Ah right ok.
I like to think there are a few amusing twists a bit further in so hopefully the predictability will wear off
