I couldn't see a thread for this one, so...
Does anyone know what went wrong with this? Series 1 was brilliant- dark, funny, fascinating, sick, outrageous, jaw-dropping... albeit with one or two inconsistencies such as Jill showing the vicar Terry's ashes, but then holding a funeral later in the series etc.
Then series 2 came out seemingly ignoring what happened at the end of series 1- surviving charcters dead, dead characters alive etc. Plus the look of series 2 was different, like the footage had been processed differently or something technical, it also seemed to lose any subtlety and a lot of the humour.
Did anything go horribly wrong with the planning of series 2?
