Chris Moyles' Quiz Night

Sunday 22 March, 10:00 PM on Ch4

I don't know if anyone else will be watching but I for one can't wait hopefully he'll ditch the "Wacky" Chris Moyles persona and be more he is on the radio show. Fingers crossed I really hope it's good.

This is offical blurb.

"Channel 4 has got the fabulous Chris Moyles on board to host a brand new quiz show - and he's putting up his own possessions as prizes! Chris will pit his wits against the celebrity guests each week in an attempt to keep hold of his stuff, otherwise his flat will begin to look rather empty...

While the winner takes a bit of Chris' home, er, home, the loser will have to close out the show with a specially chosen karaoke song - accompanied by an eight-piece, all-female big band. With personal possessions and karaoke embarrassment on national telly at stake, tension will be high.

The quiz is hosted by a different celebrity guest who will set the questions for the show, but with the master of mischief Moyles at the helm, expect energy and exuberance on tap."

I'm gonna watch it as I like celebrity panel games.

Not sure whether I like Chris Moyles much or not, sometimes he's funny and other times down right rude.

I'll give it a chance.

I used to listen to his radio show, before he had the breakfast slot, when he was on after Mark & Lard (who were awesomness). And then he was on too early for me Pleased so I haven't listened for years.

He's a bit too much Nuts magazine for me, plus I remember him being obsessed with all the latest reality shows and them being major parts of his show.

I dunno if I'll watch this, I might give it a try. But I do remember his Channel 5 show and it being really awkward, with long gaps between questions, ect, but that might have been the guests fault, cos I couldn't imagine Chris being quiet lol.

Will comedy Dave be dressed as a jockey again? What was that about? I strangely miss that channel, whatever it was called? Play UK or something?

I'm not keen on Moyles, he seems a bit horrible to me, like Chris Evans with his 'gang'.

He makes me laugh in the morning. Some times a bit cutting but most of the time when him and team are on form it's brilliant.

I not sure if Comedy Dave or Dom or any of the Radio show crew are in it. Which will be a shame because they all work together so well but some of them are on Beeb contracts so can't etc.

Channel 5 thing was a bit mmmm, Chris Evans produced that which I didn't know before.

I like his radio show, but these Channel 4 entertainment/quiz/panel things I try and avoid.

I love Chris on the radio but on TV he never seems to come over well. Anyone remember his apperance on Buzzcocks? It was bad.

I always got the impression he feel self concious on TV and will just say stuff to remind people he's there whereas he's quite natural on radio.

Good point, Gavin

Yeah, I'm with you on that. On the Radio he seems himself and funny with the rest of the breakfast gang, on the TV he comes across a bit of a twat at times as he tries too hard to be funny and ends up not being.

I can't bear him, the loudmouthed gobshite.

I don't think it's too bad so far. It might be dependent on what guests he gets and how entertaining they are though.

And why has he got the other guests behind that screen? Weird.

Yes.

Really quite enjoyed that. Although as Nil noted, it's going to be very dependant on the guests. Barbara Windsor is always ace to see on TV as herself. :)

I cannot f**king believe my digibox is dead. I have to watch on S4C at 12:15

:(
