Tiggs were you seated in the balcony by any chance?

Yep.

For anyone going to see him.....dont worry! At worse you'll agree with me and think it was alright ish and at best you'll love it. It certainly wasnt bad.

I just think his lack of stand up experience showed.....Gervais jumped into stand up late and used a script to cover his lack of experience....Brydon tries to do a traditional stand up act (with audience interaction, improv, etc) and he's just not quite there....which clashes with his TV work where he is very slick indeed. HE either needs more scripted stuff (and better scripted stuff - 5 mins on how his baby makes a growling noise is not good enough) or more experience...or both. If he was back in Reading in a couple of years I'd deffo give him a second chance.

I think it's often a different experience seated in the balcony - too out of it...and not in a good way. :)

Sort of...but then it depends if you want to laugh because they're funny or just because you're all laughing. Chris Rock has laughing at the back of the stadium....it is possible!
