I'm not saying there are no bad teachers Leevil. There are. And bad nurses and policemen and so on. But there are a lot more bad pupils with painful bleeding heart laws on their side. In there lies the rub.

OK, I didn't realise you were talking about those types of cases, and there is a clear problem with "the system" there. I couldn't imagine (I don't want to imagine) what it's like being a teacher, in charge of 30 little brats, I don't know how you do it, although I would've thought a giant bear teacher would be quite mesmerizing.

But I still regret not being giving the opportunity to a decent education, and for that, I'm probably quite bitter. I think I maybe turning into my dad, but they need to start teaching trades in school, that'll straighten them out

I've seen lots of ice cream vans lately. Although most of em seem to be speeding down the road, it seems more like BLIND THE KIDS.

Blind...? Is that based solely on 'mind'? I really hope there's an extra connection which I'm not making.

I think some ice cream vans have "mind the kids" written on to warn other drivers that kids may run out into the road.

Do the ice cream trucks in the UK dispense illicit drugs? It seems to be a recurring theme here in the States.

Yeah - but is that the only basis upon which Lee made his comment, or is there another link between the word "blind" and ice cream vans?
