Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle - Series 1

Yaayy! This starts tonight. And it's on actual proper telly as well, BBC Two!

Looking forward to this very much. Hopefully the programme will capture his act as well as his DVDs have.

Very rare that the Beeb make an effort to give a stand-up a show like this, but that could be down to the fact that there aren't many who warrant it.

And according to the Radio Times, there's extra footage on the red button after the show's finished. Hurrah and yaay again!

I cannot physically wait.

Really looking forward to this; it's absurd he hasn't had a show of his own for such a long time.

Richard Herring should get one next.

I would die of happiness if there were several shows on TV that were just live standup.

I think I will hate it.

He's so good you unquestionably will Aaron.

Ha, if you ignore the fact that you don't like his face, I think you will be won over by his intelligence.

Although he is a liberal, so that might annoy you.

I think you'll like him in the end though.

Following Jerry Springer: The Opera, he's got a LONG way to climb.

Oh that is NOTHING like his actual stand up. At all.

I would never have guessed he'd had anything to do with the opera, if I didn't know.

It's still brought him far, far into my negative scale. :)

Well I expect he cries himself to sleep every night about that, but hopefully he can turn you around!

Too right.

Well, he let me borrow his lighter about three years ago, so good luck to him.

Ew, does he smoke?

He used to smoke like a trooper on stage.
