King of Kensington

Did you guys get this show? It ran from 75 to 80. It was probably Canada's most successful sitcom (perhaps its only until Corner Gas came along).
It was pretty funny stuff.
The series featured many Canadian actors as guest stars, including Mike Myers, John Candy, Eugene Levy, Dave Thomas, and Mark Humphrey.
Just curious if anyone watched it in the US or UK.
It was a sort of more multicultural version of 'Till Death Us Do Part' or 'All in the Family' (as in the none white people were actually his friends).
The lead actor Al Waxman went on to do other stuff south of the boarder (don't they all) like 'Cagney and Lacy'.

Never saw it.

Kensington Vancouver?

Nay, Toronto. Kensington market.
