Erm.... No, I shan't ask.

Well if we're going down memory f**king lane then I'll have to shout out for Auf Wiedersehen Pet, currently re-running on ITV4.

This. Bloody awesome series.

I thang-yo! And still managed to retain some of its original glory when it went to the Beeb many years later, I think.

Some of it, although nothing will ever live up to that first series.

Mind you, I was straight back into the 3rd series as soon as Moxey crashed his stolen motorbike off the quay.

I saw him the other night in a bit of the first Keaton Batman movie, doing an American accent which diiiiiidn't quite come off! Think they gave Moxey quite a bit more to do in the Beeb series, didn't they?

I quite liked the later BBC series. Not up to the classic early stuff, but still a lot better than the shite we're served up nowadays.

I saw Moxey doing a Nivea cream advert once. Didn't work either.

It wasn't as bad as his Scouse accent!

By the way, on the subject of Batman, the baddie who fights Batman, with a sword in each hand, was played by a bloke who used to coach a lad in my class at school, who did Thai boxing. He also once appeared on T.V. show You Bet! kicking cans off the top of people's heads.

TV Burp is ok but borders on the moronic at times..

Each to their own but to my mind TV Burp is the smartest and most subversive comedy on TV at the moment. But maybe I'm a moron.

It hasn't been the same since Brian Tisley left.

It's hardly their fault he got murdered.

Currently I do not watch ITV because there is nothing that interests me. Well maybe FA and European footy. Otherwise a waste of time. And I only have 4 stations one of which is in a language I barely understand. And I have S4C.

I just mean all that FIIIGGGHHTTT! stuff. And the obsession he had with Freaky Eaters. A bit cringeworthy for me. The rest of it is very good.

Barely is far more of a grasp than I've managed. :)

Sometimes, when I watch T.V. Burp, I can't help wondering whether Harry Hill regrets giving up being a Doctor. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a very funny bloke, but I wish he'd try and write a sitcom, or a sketch show instead.

I went to a screening of his sitcom pilot Soapington Way (I thought it was Crescent). Obviously nothing came of it but if you can see it it is worth watching.

Also I agree about Auf and Minder was really good.
