Mr Blue Sky - Sorry Andrew I know you're on here occasionally but possibly a little too gentle for me. Shades of Dear John. Sticking with it.

Wasn't too impressed by last night's Simon Day Show. Overall it's been a very patchy series, some inspired stuff, mixed in with the clunky and predictable. Still, he's such a talent I'd still like to see a second series.
Great to have Party back. Still fresh and funny, with plenty of laugh out loud moment. Pleased they've kept the one-act play format too.
I listened to an episode of I'm Sorry I haven't a Clue from 1985 on iPlayer yesterday. I am a relativly new fan of the show but I have to say that the 1985 show was just as funny as todays. (Kenny Everett was covering for a sick GG).
I used to like Willy Rushton

Who didn't?
"Great Unanswered Questions", is this meant to be funny?

Was that the Angus Deayton thing? It was a bit of a car crash - but a car crash with some funny bits amongst the wreckage. I particularly liked Miles Jupp's dad. And Angus Deayton is still an excellent host, again proving that he should never have been sacked from Have I Got News For You.

No, it's this, http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00v1091
Seems to be an Irish comedian and a few of his mates having the sort of "discussions" that most of us have in a pub after a few beers which has accidently been transmitted on a national radio station.
It's currently being broadcast in the "Parliament Today" slot (11.30pm), unfortunately "Parliament Today" is generally a lot funnier.
Oh, I haven't heard it then. I'm too tired to listen to the radio at 11:30pm!
Listened to Party last night for the first time
Very funny indeed
Roughcuts is kind of like a current radio comedy, if anyone's interested in some free-to-download stuff: https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/21386/
It's produced by the Comedy Unit, not just a fly-by-night internet geek trying to get you to listen (but some of my stuff is on it, admittedly)

And one of mine in podcast 1, so I firmly agree with Dan's decision to post it here...
Now Show is back. Didn't think that this week's quite hit the mark as some of the stories I hadn't heard of and I have the bbc website open on the desktop most of the time I'm on line. However, they had John Finnemore on and the best bit was that Cabin Pressure is back next month.
Great to hear that Cabin Pressure's back next month. Looking forwards to that indeed!
