Current radio comedy Page 59

The Frank Skinner podcasts are just brilliant. It cuts out all the music (including The Fall!). I'm absolutely laughing my gonads off right now.

anyone listen to Robert Newman - Apocalypso Now on Radio 4 extra?

very funny

2nd part is this Saturday eve

Heard Milton Jones' show on 4Extra earlier this afternoon. I think it was from 1998.

Just brilliant.

Party is being repeated; it's very good.

Can you get it to work on the iPlayer? Every time I go to it I get the bl***dy Leopard in Autumn. I enjoyed Party.

:) Got a chum to listen Ed Reardon and Milton Jones, he loves 'em! so many people miss radio comedy! wonder why.

Perhaps BBC should advertise more radio on TV, that must influence things.

A day late posting this but loved Down The Line again this week. My favourite radio comedy for quite some time.

Mine too, every single episode has me laughing out loud at some point, consistently funny stuff, love it.

It is indeed that rarity of radio comedy, a genuinely funny one.

It was great to hear the return of the man who drives truck loads of explosives into crowds on Down The Line.

Re genuinely funny comedies, R4 are repeating Party at the moment (Wednesdays, 11;30pm), which was probably the best new sitcom of recent years. With a standout performance from Tim Key.

That was my favourite bit.

:D

For Party fans here is some good news - a second series has been commissioned. Tickets are available at http://www.bbc.co.uk/showsandtours/shows/shows/party_2011

So Wrong It's Right, Graham Linehan's Through The Keyhole was brilliant! Laughing out loud

Just listened to two eps of So Wrong It's Right.

My new favourite radio show.

This week's So Wrong It's Right confirmed my opinion of Sarah Millican as really quite annoying and a bit patronising. Otherwise it's been a good series.
