What is Rick Wakeman doing on Just A Minute? Surely they need to enforce some kind of comedy quality control.

:| I agree, oh well Archers now!

I enjoyed George Formby - Britain's Original Pop Star on Radio 2 last night. Several interesting things cropped up during the programme, like the fact he was born blind, he had several ukuleles on stage because he didn't know how to tune one properly, and supposedly he was the first man to go over 100mph on the Isle of Man's TT track.

:| :| :| :| :| NOT MUCH ABOUT. even on 6-7. I have looked for retro comedy, just looked for' Ed R eardons week',that is now payland. Happy to find an Alan Bennet very good, as always.

Charlie Sheen's latest live video has just begun to air if your extreeeeeeemly bored: http://www.ustream.tv/charliesheen

Act Your Age has its knockers but I enjoy it, and was glad to have it back last night. And I like Mayo as a host, he's easy to digest. That said, the criticism I had of earlier series applies to this one: too many teams. They'd be far better off boiling it down to Current Comedians vs. The Old Guard.

Just listened to So Wrong It's Right which was as enjoyable as ever, but what was with the announcer's voice before? Weird, he sounded like he'd been slowed down. Horrible voice.

Wasn't he the black announcer that got a lot of complaints when he first started? You big racist, Putters!

Agree on the show, though. Very enjoyable, and along with The Unbelievable Truth, one of the best new Radio 4 panel shows in recent years.

Ha! Is he? Doesn't matter, still a horrible voice.

I find his voice strangely hypnotic - you kind of have to listen to what he has to say.

Yeah, lots of fun! Charlie Brooker being grumpy is great value, and the format seems to bring out the best in the panellists.

Apparently he's from the Caribbean and worked for the World Service before joining Radio 4.

I'd much rather have him than the Belfast mafia who've infected Radio Five Live or the Geordies who seem to be on every channel associated with Channel Four.

Just listening to Down The Line. Great stuff. The disguised voice call was brilliant and well worth a Laughing out loud. Nice that they've mentioned the TV show as well.
