Years ago when I worked at an A&E in Croydon, a "patient" turned up at 4am with their landline phone. They had only come along to plug it in and check it was working properly. There was no particular call they were expecting, nor any reason for them to think the phone wasn't working. We thought for a moment about calling the psychiatric liason nurse, but instead just let him plug it in, hear that it was working and then happily make his way back home again.

My co-worker making my other co-worker put on an inflatable costume to make sure it works.

Asking said latter co-worker to do jobs, like get down pinatas, while he is in the costume, which has forgotten he is in.

Being missed.

The "guess how many balloons are in the basket" game after the wind wrecks the display.

Seeing one of my neighbourhood's cats wiggling its (wet) front paws this morning. I have never seen a dog doing it that way.

Seeing my cat squeeze into small drawer of coffee table, then go behind drawer and sit peeping out very smug and happy!

The neighbour's cat I was talking about in my post looks exactly the same as your avatar. A thin black cat. I don't know her name so I have to call her Dellas in future.
