I just saw an episode of the show for the first time.
I thought it was really funny. If anyone has seen it, it was the episode with the sweaty guy.
I couldn't find it on the websites shows.
Anyone else see it or have an opinion?
One Season Wonders
This is on ... PBS? I think that 'One Season Wonders' is their season of programming, showing British sitcoms which ran for only one series - as the name suggests!
OOooooooh! LOL! Yes it was on PBS. I thought it was an odd title.
I wonder what the show was called then because it was really funny!
It seemed like the female secretary was the main character and she worked for a toy company.
Seeing as that's sorted, I thought that this thread would be about everyone's favourite "One Season Wonders". To which I was going to suggest,
Vic & Bobs Catterick and The Last Chancers.
Darkplace!
Yes!

Curt has Chicken McNuggets for brains.
Seriously though, hmm, toy company... Sounds like Office Gossip. Starring Pauline Quirke.

I'd really love to see it again, if anyone should have a copy.

On a related note - I quite enjoyed Man to Man with Dean Lerner. Ayode and Berry = pure class.
Isn't there an ITV1 sitcom that's been sitting on the shelf for about 7 years?
I think it was called 'Odd Socks' or something. Set in a launderette (I think), and starring Linda Robson and Linda Bellingham.
Must be good!

Yea that was it!
It was a funny show. Good characters. They all seemed to be acting like they'd been doing their characters for more than 1 season.
That Craig Charles Channel 4 series Captain Butler was only on for one series, and thought it was good, also An Actor's Life For Me.
