Pratchett - why did I hesitate? Page 3

Pratchett's books are not really about "wizards and dragons and shit", he uses his fantasy world as a way of writing about anything he wants to write about while carrying his readership with him. He hit his stride with Mort and there have been comparatively few duds since. The books are always to a lesser or greater degree satirical, and the jokes come thick and fast, sometimes groanworthy, sometimes clever, and not infrequently both; but Pratchett's real strength is as a storyteller - he makes you want to keep turning the pages (and not writing in chapters is I suspect a deliberate part of this).

Why did they bury The Stig?

No need to worry zooo. It's the twentieth century, and there's nothing to be ashamed about in going out and buying the biggest strap-on you can find. >_<

Erm...Deliberate mistake. Honest. No, really.

I'd say ask Terry but he's been a forgetful old so and so at the minute!

He's also hard at work on his new book, the Colour of Magic. It'd be rude to interrupt.

Looks like a skull and crossbones.

Looks like Bart Simpson in negative.

I think the helmet belonged to Wavey Davey (Dave Winder) the bald one on the right. (often writes for PC Pro magazine http://www.pcpro.co.uk/news/90196/davey-winder-scoops-security-journalism-award.html?searchString=davey)

I'm not sure, but I think it was a black Skull & Crossbones.
