What's the last pub you were in? Page 5

Government. That was the aspect of university I enjoyed most.

So your degree was in Politics? What university and why do you think you didn't do that well?

Essex. At first, I struggled to fit in and find a niche. To me university's like Christmas: you're supposed to be having the time of your life and if you don't, you can feel isolated and depressed.

Hoping to meet Essex girls, eh? :)

I don't tend to fit in much, but I like talking to people and having a laugh and always managed to find at least one like-minded person and then lead them even further astray! I think it also depends what you study - I don't think I would have fitted in with, say, biochemists.

You're very fortunate. I like talking to people but have always found it a struggle. Especially when younger.

You wouldn't guess it :)

Maybe you're a bit aggressive or defensive?

I look like a bit of a bitch and a bit stuck up but I like chatting to people but probably ask too many questions because I'm naturally curious (okay nosey). So I usually have to talk to people first, but if I can't be bothered people will leave me alone. As part of my job I used to photograph and interview stylish people on the street so I also have ahabit of approaching complete strangers and telling them I like their hair, shoes, whatever.

Totally agree. I was very stupid and had a boyfriend in my first year who I left back home.(I used to drive 2 hours home twice a week) I then finished with him at the beginning of the second year and found I had no friends, wasn't enjoying uni and spent the second year making up for it. :)

Sat at my desk staring at another report I really wish I went to uni (or was smart enough to go).

Then again in 30 years time when people asked if I went to uni I can just say:

"Listen sonny! I went to the university of life! Now piss off and get me a bacon butty!"

My sisters like that - she's nice enough but asks way too many questions, just try not to make them too personal :P

By "rescued me", do you in fact mean "milked me; milked me dry"?

Well, I wouldn't ask people about their sex lives, but I like knowing where people are from and stuff - but then I did train as a journalist, suppose it's just habit - always wondering if your missing a good story. :)

I'm rather odd with talking to people. I seem to have a split personality.

As for uni, biggest mistake I've ever made. Kids, "Just Say No!".
