Both The Royle Family & The Office are so overrated. Although I loved the American version of The Office, Ricky Gervais annoys me to high heaven.

I can't imagine anyone who dislikes something, rating it highly. So where does the overratednessness come from?

Surely nobody really knows the worst sitcoms ever, because they never watch them in full, because to do so would be torture?
