Watson's Wind Up - oneliners & short sketches. Page 31

Abu Dhabi Doooooo!

Cheers Griff.
I just listened to it myself, I'm well chuffed.
:D

Am pleased to say that I got two sketches on this week. The opening one re the reindeer testicle and the later one re the Scottish bigamist.

The jazz band one worked really well - well done.

Real shame that this was the last show.

Kevin

Well Played Kev!
I think I heard Gerry McDonnells name in the Credits as well.

Thanks Steve. Yeah, Gerry was mentioned - I recorded the credits since the iPlayer version cuts them!

Well done, guys!

Many congrats guys - well deserved!

Tam Wave

Well done BCG-ers - a good send-off to the show.

After a reign of sketches 4 weeks in a row, (6 in total for the series) I failed to get stuff in this week.
Time to kill myself.
:P

The reindeer testicle gag was a good 'un. :)

You did great Mikey.
I liked the sketches you got on there as well as the ones you posted on here (all funny & nicely structured)

Tam was a star as well, It was always good to steal I mean see his jokes each week.

I definitely hope they have a similar show in the future.
They won't be short of potential writers judging by some of the corkers we've seen on this thread.

Just out of interest, how much material have people sent in to WW over the 11 weeks. I managed to get a gag in on the last show - thanks be - but there was stuff on this forum as funny or funnier than material that was broadcast. What's next then? I haven't seen any open doors yet for Newsjack :O(

First Newsjack recording is 6th Jan for broadcast on 7th Jan, but I guess it isn't on Writersroom yet because they only want topical stuff, so there's no point in going live with it until a week or so before the deadline (probably Monday 4th).

EDIT: Or just see this thread https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/16165

Looks like I'm the only c**t who didn't manage to get a joke on. Laughing out loud

With all the recent snow fall Nick Griffin has decided to go for Christmas no.1 with Bing Crosby's "Im dreaming of a white Christmas"

Everyone look! http://www.bbc.co.uk/writersroom/opportunity/newsjack1.shtml lets get back at it! :D

I tended to send in a few bits (mostly quickie sketches) each week.
