I walked out one..... morning

A tribute to one of the most boring books I've been forced to read and an opportunity for anyone planning to leave BSG to let us know. We probably won't give a f**k unless you've won the lottery and are planning on spreading a little happiness to your on-line friends but hey, I'm bored.

I was thinking of caling it 'I Tim Walkered out one morning' but as those of you that can actually read have noticed...I didn't.

I miss him already Teary

I thought going by the thread title that this was going to be about a folk ballad.

With a skiddery idle dah - diddly idle deedle doe.

So I take it you've never read Perfume?

Nope. Don't even like the title.

He'd read it if it was called Eau de Urine.

Eau de Ursine, surely?

Yes. Yes I would.

That's Marc's next book title taken care of then.

I had to look it up. It does mean 'bear'.

Usrine? Uri- beaR? What the hell...?

It does, indeed, mean bear. Well "related to bears." It was a stretch of a pun/joke.

I'm fairly sure I only know it 'cos of Pokemon. Pleased

I'd just like to mention some on the BSG role of honour.

Tim Walker-Fell on his own sense of humour

Jake How-Beaten to death by a crossing lady outside Waterloo Road

Thing- Imploded after finding an answer there was no question to.

I think it's okay to announce a hiatus from boards like these if you're planning on taking a break to get some major work done or whatever...but I do think if you're gonna leave for good, then just leave, and maybe PM people you're "close" to.

I thought it was a pretty decent book. And an interesting wrinkle on the overworked and tired serial killer premise.

I found it really hard work and unrewarding. I was told to read it by someone who thought I'd really love it, but I found it a bit souless and the ending was all a bit 'and then I woke up and it was all a dream.'
