EXT. STREET – NIGHT

A MAN IS RUNNING, BREATHING HEAVILY. HE KEEPS LOOKING OVER HIS SHOULDER NERVOUSLY. TWO BOBBIES COME RUNNING ROUND THE CORNER AFTER HIM.

THE CAMERA NOW FOLLOWS THE TWO POLICEMEN.

THE MAN TURNS DOWN AN ALLEY. THE POLICE ARE CLOSER NOW, WE SEE THEM DODGING AND VAUTING SOME CARDBOARD BOXES. THE POLICEMEN EMERGE FROM THE ALLEY INTO A HOUSING ESTATE. ALL IS QUIET. THEY PULL UP.

ONE POLICEMAN PULLS OUT A DEVICE. HE LOOKS AT IT, CONFUSED.

PC 1:
Mick, it says he's still in there.

THEY GO BACK INTO THE ALLEY, PC 2 PULLING OUT HIS TRUNCHEON, PC ONE STILL CHECKING THE DEVICE, WHICH IS BEEPING AT AN INCREASINGLY FRANTIC PACE.

THEY EDGE TOWARDS THE BOXES. WITH A FLOURISH, PC 1 KICKS OVER THE PILE.

PC 1:
Gotcha!

THE LOOK OF SATISFACTION TURNS TO CONFUSION.

WE SEE A PROSTHETIC LEG LYING IN THE BOXES. THE DEVICE IS BEEPING MANICALLY NOW. PC 1 ROLLS DOWN THE SOCK, REVEALING AN ELECTRONIC TAG.

THE LOOK TURNS TO ANGER.

THE CAMERA ZOOMS INTO THE BACKGROUND. WE SEE THE RUNNER HOPPING AWAY.

.
