Any tips or cures?
I have it on and off, but it's been bad for the past few days and I feel a bit off my head now . I've probably had about 12 hours sleep over the last three days.
Bastards. Bet you're all snoring away in bed now.
Hi, Dolly,
Try one Valerian and one calcium about a half hour before you want to go to sleep. You get them at health food stores. Also have something near the bed that can emit a low steady tone (white noise) to mask noises from outside. Hot baths help too & making sure your feet are warm works too. Hope this all helps
Have a wank.
I haven't slept well at all in the past 3 months... not insomnia but stress. My doctor advised for me to exercise before bed and not to drink caffeine. Great advice.

That'll do it.
I used to have it.
Doing exercise at some point during the day seems to help, however much I don't want to do it at the time.
Having regular(-ish) bedtime/sleep time/wake-up time seems to help. You're not going to be able to go to bed at 11pm if you've been in bed until 3pm, for instance.
Agree with the not watching of the TV or computer in the last hour or so before going to bed. Taking the TV out of the bedroom helped a lot, mainly cos now the g/f can't watch telly whilst I'm trying to sleep!
I tend to read until I'm dropping off enough to go to sleep. Also, I have to read books and not magazines/newspapers as they don't seem to do a job properly for some reason (I expect it's the change of story/attention span thingy).

Don't be, I was tired.
Thanks for all the suggestions, everything's worth a try. I actually didn't do too bad last night.
*badly
I see your worries about your grammar didn't keep you awake then?
