Freezing

I'm American and saw the 3 episodes of Freezing with Elizabeth McGovern on a Virgin Atlantic flight about a year ago. It was so good I kept expecting it would show up in the US but as far as I can tell it hasn't gone beyond those initial episodes. Anyone have any info on this?
