In Andrew Collins third book (read his books, they're ace) he talks about how when writing for EE they only get a small choice of settings for time reasons.

'That's Me in the Corner'? The day I read that I ended up sitting opposite Andrew Collins on the tube. His teeth look nice now though. :)

Yeah. Highly recommend them.

Not EE but on Corrie earlier this evening:

Janice is at a table in the cafe with Ken, trying to get him to take her seriously that she wants his help to gain 5 GCSE's. (Janice is pig-shit thick, with a face reminiscent of a bow-legged Boxer dog). If you're not au fait with Corrie think Viz and the slags for Janice
- Ken, a neighbour is a slightly snobby ex-schoolhead, reluctantly dragooned in to help):

Janice: I'm not staying if you've got no faith in me, I can do this. I've seen Educating Rita y'know! (And leaves).

Ken groans to himself. Scene ends.

- Would have loved it if they'd had Ken groan to himself: "Oh God, not Janice! don't say I have to fall in love with Janice".

- But, Educating Rita - what a line. Kudos to the writer.
